GEORGE WILLIAMS

Chairman

George Williams, CCIM is a partner within the Retail Investment Team for Price Edwards & Company. George is responsible for marketing, sales and leasing retail properties within the Price Edwards portfolio. He holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation (CCIM) and is a member of the international Council of Shopping Centers, the Commercial Real Estate Council, and the Chainlink Advisors Young Brokers Council. George is a graduate of Baylor University.

KENDRICK ADAMS

Vice-Chairman

Kendrick Adams currently serves as a Systems Engineer for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center on Tinker AFB. Mr. Adams holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tuskegee University (May 2009) and a Master’s Degree from Oklahoma Christian University (May 2021). In June 2009, Mr. Adams began his career working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as a Mechanical Engineer on the Fort Polk Volunteer Army Barracks renovation project. From June 2009 to September 2018, Mr. Adams successfully completed more than 20 construction projects with USACE to include the San Antonio Military Medical Center, Ft. Hood Vehicle Maintenance Facility, DLA Fuel Distribution Facilities & Tinker AFB Air Traffic Control Tower. In 2018, He joined the Air Force’s Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) team working as a Systems Engineer for the T-6 Texan II Special Program Office at Tinker AFB, OK. Mr. Kendrick Adams is married to Mrs. Vanessa Adams, also an engineer, and they have two daughters.

BRYAN EAKERS

Secretary

Bryan Eakers was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK. He is an Accountant for the Oklahoma State Department of Health. He graduated from Midwest City High School in Midwest City, OK. After high school he embarked on a 3-year collegiate athletic career at Randall University. He went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries and a Master of Business Administration with Accounting emphasis. Mr. Eakers provides leadership to community action groups within the Oklahoma City metro area. Mr. Eakers has been influential in introducing new and innovative ideas that will stabilize financially-struggling African-American communities in Oklahoma. He aims to increase financial discernment in the millennial and generation X men and women of America by teaching the academic knowledge and experience he has gained.

COLYN MOSS

Treasurer

Colyn Moss brings 20 years of aircraft support experience to his engineering role for the KC-46 Tanker program at Tinker Air Force Base. He has earned two degrees to date: a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern University – Baton Rouge (and passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam in the State of Louisiana in his semester of graduation), and a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Friends University – Wichita. Prior to Tinker Air Force Base, Colyn provided engineering support through The Boeing Company in these programs: KC-135, B 52, 767 Italy Tanker, E-3 ESS and Block 40/45 Modification, E-4B, and Executive Transport Services and Support. He served in all Executive Board positions within the Boeing Black Employees Association progressively through his tenure at the Wichita, KS, and Oklahoma City sites. Colyn also performed engineering surveillance over certain Boeing aircraft programs as an Interdisciplinary Engineer with the Defense Contract Management Agency.

TONY DANIELS

Board Member

Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Tony Daniels retired as the Chief Auditor, Internal Review Officer at the HQ 102nd Division (Maneuver Support) at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. In his civilian career, LTC Daniels retired after serving over 27 years as a Programs Field Representative for the State of Oklahoma, Office of Juvenile Affairs, and Office of Public Integrity in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Brother Daniels holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma, a second Bachelors of Arts degree in Christian Studies from Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee, Oklahoma, and a Master of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice Management & Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a Member of the American Legion Post 157, Board Member OU Black Alumni, and Director, Christian Education, Israel Chapel, CME Church. Brother Daniels was initiated at the Zeta Zeta Chapter in spring 1985. He is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He is married to the former Debbie Gulston.

DR. RANDY HUNT

Board Member

Dr. Randy Hunt is a retired Associate Professor and the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies Director at Langston University School of Education and Behavioral Sciences. Prior to this position, he was an Aerospace Education (Outreach) Services Program Specialist at NASA headquarters in Washington, D.C. He has additional experience as a Secondary Science Teacher, State Teacher Test Reviewer, National Science Teacher Association Science Reviewer, College Board Reader, and Table Leader (Biology), College Board AP Biology Consultant, and grant writing. Dr. Hunt has thirty-four years of STEAM education experiences that are both at the classroom and administrative levels. He worked with diverse pre-service educators to prepare for their teacher certification tests. Dr. Hunt’s higher education degrees are Curriculum and Instruction Education emphasis in Multicultural Education doctorate from Oklahoma State University, a master’s in Junior College Education and Natural Science, and a Biology Education bachelor’s from Central State University, now University of Central Oklahoma. Dr. Hunt has done STEAM activities with various Oklahoma school districts, Oklahoma City Public Schools, Guthrie Public Schools, Stillwater Public Schools, and Coyle Public Schools, to name a few. He is the past Wesley Foundation at Langston Board member building manager who assisted in building a new $1.5 million, 10,000 square foot building. He is past president of the Beta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

MELVIN GAINES

Board Member

Melvin Gaines a retired Oklahoma State Probation and Parole Officer III. Currently employed with Devon Energy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Boley High School in Boley, Oklahoma. He is a 1988 graduate of Langston University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Corrections. Melvin is the past president of the Beta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Lt. Col. KEVIN DORSEY

Board Member

Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Dorsey is a Full-time Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Logistics Officer in The Oklahoma Army National Guard (OKARNG).  His military record spans over 30 years, starting as an Enlisted Soldier and transitioning to Officer in 2001, just after September 11.

 

He was instrumental as the Vice President for the New Concept Preparatory School, where he helped to establish one of the first Charter Schools in The State of Oklahoma (The Deborah Brown Community School in Tulsa, OK.) that is still the premier school of choice for grades K-5 in Tulsa. 

 

Prior to becoming a full-time AGR for the OKARNG, Kevin was a Police Officer for the City of Tulsa until he resigned in 2017 before accepting a position at the National Guard Bureau in Washington, D.C. Kevin owns several businesses, including a Security, Remodeling, and Project Management company.

 

He is currently the Project Manager overseeing the Garden Oaks Community City renovation construction.
